Accredited Training to Become a Clinical Supervisor at CARE!!
Training Program Overview:
- CARE is committed to providing effective and exceptional supervision.
- Our Training Team is
focused on building a community of highly trained supervisors to cultivate excellent, ethical, and culturally responsive supervision.
- We are thrilled to offer a 50-hour Supervision Training Program at CARE!
- The training program has been approved by MN Boards of Psychology, Behavioral Health & Therapy, Marriage & Family Therapy & Social Work for 50 hours of credit for LP’s, LPCC’s, LMFT’s & LICSW’s!!
- This comprehensive professional training will also meet the continuing education standards and requirements of the MN Boards of BBHT, MFT, and SW.
Training Program Details:
- The program spans across one training year.
- Those participating in the program will be “supervisor candidates” until becoming a board-approved supervisor.
- The second cohort will begin Fall 2024, and there are limited spots available.
- Supervisor candidates will meet as a group on a weekly basis for an hour of supervision training and 30 minutes of supervision consultation.
- Candidates will have access to individual supervision consultation and regular check-ins with Meg Spires, MSW, LICSW, our Associate Director of Supervision Training and a LPCC and LICSW board-approved supervisor.
- Following the training, supervisor candidates will be eligible to apply to become a board-approved supervisor. Provided all the other criteria for board-approval have been met.
